Vidanta, Grupo Vidanta’s luxury vacationing brand, will enter the cruising industry with its luxury ship, the Vidanta Elegant, offering exclusivity to the Mexican coastline. It will make its debut voyage this fall and can accommodate up to 298 passengers.
The maiden vessel was acquired, stripped and rebuilt from the hull up in partnership with SMC Design, and custom construction elements can be seen throughout. The ship will feature 149 staterooms and suites. The number of cabins was limited in order to provide larger accommodations than seen on traditional cruises.
The ship is also outfitted with six public decks and dining areas, 11 bars and lounges, an entertainment venue, a full-service spa and fitness center, a top deck pool and several Jacuzzis. Vidanta Elegant will showcase two culinary veterans as its signature chefs: chef Eric Pansu and pastry chef Pascal Molines.
