The 45-room Santarena Hotel in Las Catalinas, Costa Rica, will feature uniquely designed guestrooms and accompanying outdoor spaces.
Clean linear interiors with a modern touch will embellish the hotel’s guestrooms, which all feature king-sized beds, wood floors made from sustainable materials and large bathrooms that showcase locally sourced amenities. Most of the rooms will come with private balconies adorned with handmade Cuban-style pressed tiles. Living spaces in guestrooms differ, from neutral color palettes offset with bursts of aqua or sea blue, to vibrant furniture and accents spread across a room featuring bright yellow walls.
Three food and beverage outlets round out the property. The casual Atrium is an indoor-outdoor space just off the lobby and is open for breakfast and lunch. The Lobby Bar offers light food and beverages, and the hotel’s signature restaurant Ponciana offers a sophisticated touch.
The hotel will be part of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts collection, a global portfolio of independent properties.
