Rosewood Mayakoba, a 5-star property in Mexico’s Riviera Maya, has unveiled its $20 million renovation.
The resort has totally transformed into a new destination for wellness and luxury with the addition of eight dedicated wellness suites; two new Presidential Suites; debut of Zapote, a bar experience in partnership with Licorería Limantour; Aqui Me Quedo, the resort’s new adults-only enclave; and the total renovation of the 129 on-property suites.
Zapote will host a roster of local and international guest bartenders, visiting chefs and musical talents. Each month, renowned cocktail specialists from Mexico and beyond will “takeover” the bar, while visiting chefs will create pop-up bar menus. The concept is inspired by the Mayan philosophy “In Lek’ech,” meaning “you are my other me.”
