The Los Angeles Chapter of The American Institute of Architects (AIA|LA) is accepting entries for the 2018 Restaurant Design Awards. Registration is due Feb. 16 and project materials must be submitted by March 2.
To qualify for consideration, projects must be located within the U.S. or the submitting individual/firm must be based in the country. Eligible projects must have been completed in the last four years (since Jan. 1, 2014). Both restaurant owners/clients and architects/designers are eligible to enter their completed projects. People’s Choice voting will be open on the chapter’s Facebook page and website March 3-30, and a group of interdisciplinary judges will select the award recipients. Finalists will present their work at Dwell on Design—which will be co-located with the Boutique Design West (BDwest) hospitality trade fair and conference—at the Los Angeles Convention Center on April 6.
