Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is refreshing its midscale Ramada Encore by Wyndham brand. The heart of the flag’s new identity is an “approachable and vibrant” design, according to the hotelier.
Prototypes for guestrooms and common spaces were designed by architecture firm Harrison. The new design features multifunctional common areas. Guests will be greeted by a deconstructed bar upon arrival, allowing the space to be used in different ways throughout the day. Multi-tiered benches and semi-private booths will offer spaces for guests to relax in public areas.
Core to the new identity for the brand is a logo redesign from London-based marketing agency Octopus Group, which acts as a representation of the refreshed Ramada Encore. The multi-colored “E” symbol in the logo was designed to signify continual movement. It symbolizes “to return,” the definition of the word encore. Additionally, the brand has received an all new color palette to reflect its new look.
Ramada Encore by Wyndham has a portfolio of 54 hotels in 20 countries. It was created in the late 1990s as a limited-service midscale hotel brand designed for business and leisure travelers.
