French furniture and luxury lifestyle brand Ligne Roset has hired Simone Vingerhoets as executive vice president of New York-based Roset USA Corp., responsible for the firm’s North and South American markets. She replaces Antoine Roset, great-great-grandson of Ligne Roset’s founder, who is returning to the firm’s headquarters in Briord, France.

Vingerhoets was previously North American ceo at Wilkhahn. Prior to that, she was executive vice president of Finnish furniture brand Artek, and has also held leadership positions at Alessi and Chilewich.

“As an ambitious leader in the architecture and design world, Vingerhoets is poised to successfully take Ligne Roset to the next level in the Americas,” says Antoine Roset. “Her passion and knowledge give me complete confidence as I hand over the reins in order to grow the company. I know our current network and A&D contacts will work well with Simone moving forward and can’t wait to see what they create together.”

Vingerhoets added: “It is my honor to join such a high-end, creative brand as Ligne Roset. … With our custom capabilities, we can be extremely competitive in the hospitality environments to offer products without sacrificing quality, and I am looking forward to increasing these opportunities in the Americas.”
