Perkins+Will’s Bullock assumes new role
The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) has appointed Gabrielle Bullock president-elect of its 2017-18 IIDA International Board. Bullock is a three-decade veteran of architecture/design firm Perkins+Will, currently serving as principal and director of global diversity.
“During her tenure as an IIDA International Board vice president, Gabrielle has been a passionate, exemplary leader for the design industry as a whole,” says IIDA executive vice president and ceo Cheryl Durst. “She provides a high level of expertise and a distinct perspective that seamlessly aligns with the vision and mission of IIDA, and we look forward to her contributions as president-elect.”
Adds Bullock: “I am thrilled to be deepening my involvement with this influential association that plays such a critical role in the interior design industry.”
Bullock’s new role is effective immediately for the 2017-18 term. Then, beginning next June, she will serve as president of the 2018-19 IIDA International Board.
