Craig Greenberg has succeeded Steve Wilson as ceo of 21c Museum Hotels. Greenberg has served as president of the art-centric hotelier since 2012, and now holds both that title and ceo.

Wilson—who co-founded the 21c Museum Hotels with his wife, Laura Lee Brown—is staying on as board chairman. (Wilson and Brown’s latest efforts at 21c were part of the “Heavy Mettlers” feature in the June 2017 edition of Boutique Design.)

“I feel privileged to have been a part of 21c since its inception, and I’m humbled to take on this new role,” says Greenberg. “Laura Lee and Steve’s vision, courage and commitment have certainly benefitted so many of us—locals and travelers alike, artists and 21c teammates. I look forward to carrying their vision forward into this next phase of the company’s growth and continuing to work with them in this new capacity.”

21c Museum Hotels, founded in 2007 in Louisville, operates seven hotels and eight restaurants in six states.
