Park Hyatt opened the brand’s first luxury resort in the Caribbean. Developed by Range Developments, the 126-key hotel is located in Christophe Harbor on Banana Bay beach.
Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbor’s 78 guest rooms and 48 suites blend contemporary architecture with colonial design. Incorporating local materials, guest rooms feature Kittitian-inspired décor, private balconies and terraces, rain showers and soaking tubs. The three-bedroom Presidential Villa also includes a private infinity pool and wellness area.
The resort is home to three signature restaurants: Fisherman’s Village, serving ocean-to-table lunch and dinner; the adults-only Stone Barn; and The Great House, an all-day dining venue inspired by traditional colonial homes.
The hotel will also include a Life in Balance Spa, from the New York-based Miraval Group resort and spa company. The 37,752-sq,-ft. wellness center features natural stone walls with nine treatment rooms, including three couples’ treatment rooms with heated pools and outdoor showers.
“We are excited to debut the Park Hyatt brand experience on this incredible island that is brimming with rich culture, storied history, untapped adventure and pristine beaches,” says Myles McGourty, senior vice president, Latin America and Caribbean, Hyatt. “We are delighted to be working with Range Developments, the developer of the project and one of the leading development companies in the Caribbean. Our discerning global guests will be welcomed with personalized service and contemporary elegance surrounded by sophisticated design, world-class artwork, the finest culinary expressions and Miraval’s deep-rooted expertise in wellness.”
