Hyatt Hotels Corp. has unveiled plans to open the first two representatives of its Park Hyatt luxury brand in Mexico.
Park Hyatt Los Cabos is expected to open in late 2020, and will be housed within the 26-acre Cabo de Sol golf resort community. The beachfront hotel will feature 162 guest rooms and 28 Park Hyatt Residences.
Park Hyatt Mexico City is being developed through an agreement with Grupo Sordo Madaleno and is expected to open in early 2021. Featuring 155 guest rooms and 23 Park Hyatt Residences, the hotel will be part of a mixed use development in the city’s Polanco neighborhood.
The identities of the design teams behind the two hotels has not yet been disclosed. The two properties will join Park Hyatt’s existing global portfolio, which includes hotels in Bangkok, Paris, Tokyo, Vienna, Milan, Zurich and two in Argentina: Palacio Duhau-Park Hyatt Buenos Aires and Park Hyatt Mendoza.
