Boutique Design Events and Trade Fairs

Omni Oklahoma City Hotel will open January 26 and will feature 605 guestrooms; a pool deck; seven food and beverage concepts; and a full-service Mokara Spa. The hotel tops out at 17 floors and includes 78,000 square feet of meeting, event, and pre-function space all located on the second floor. Located next to the new Oklahoma City Convention Center and Chesapeake Energy Arena, the hotel will serve as a destination for meetings and events.

The design draws inspiration from the surrounding pastoral landscape of the Oklahoman terrain including layers of the earth and sky. The property pays homage to the state and weaves in the rustic, earthy tones of the land into each space in a subtle and sophisticated way, including the guestrooms.

Regional influences play a key part in the design of the guestrooms. Color palettes derived from warm prairie grasses, deep blue skies, layers of the earth, and hues of a sunset provide a bold contrast of color, conveying a sense of independent elegance. Natural textures such as leather and wood grain are incorporated into the décor and furnishings, and pastoral-inspired framed artwork highlight one of Oklahoma’s most valuable crop, wheat. The crop also inspired the pattern and tone for the carpet in the corridor, which provides a bold contrast to the vivid colors featured in the local artwork displayed on the corridor walls.
