The Sound Hotel Set For Seattle
HBA, Weber Thompson, designing Tapestry by Hilton hotel within Arrivé mixed-use tower
The Sound Hotel, a component of the Arrivé mixed-use tower in downtown Seattle, is slated to open early next year. The Los Angeles office of Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) and local architecture firm Weber Thompson are spearheading the property’s design.
Project participants describe Arrivé as one of the first for-rent mixed-use properties in downtown Seattle, with a 142-key hotel, 344 apartment units and 1800 sq. ft. of ground-level retail. Edmonds, Washington-based The Hotel Group will manage The Sound Hotel, the first Tapestry by Hilton property in Washington state. The hotel will be on floors one through 10 with a first-floor lobby and restaurant. A bar, lounge and meeting space will be on its 7th floor.
"Just this week Arrivé poured the rooftop amenity-level structure representing 41 out of 43 total floors," says Mike Doran, project executive for developers The Molasky Group of Cos. + Binjiang Group. "And as we've reach the top floors, we continue to progress the finishes of the units below to meet our early 2019 opening date."
