CATCH Las Vegas Opens at ARIA
Rockwell Group creates venue’s three distinct spaces
Rockwell Group led the design of CATCH Hospitality Group’s newly opened namesake restaurant in Las Vegas, drawing inspiration from the Los Angeles location and the Mediterranean to create a warm aesthetic.
Located in the main lobby of the ARIA Resort & Casino, CATCH Las Vegas features an 80-ft. long arched pergola with twinkling foliage lining it. Flower walls surround seating and intimate photo nooks. Flooring is made from reclaimed red and white oak that comes from abandoned farms and warehouses in the Eastern U.S.
The seafood-centric eatery’s main dining room has a modern, nature-inspired look. An olive tree acts as a centerpiece beneath a glass roof. Defining the seating area is a rustic gray trellis. Bespoke Italian leather banquettes with teak wood framing repurposed from historic buildings envelop tables with walnut planks and blackened metal touches.
The bar space showcases a 16 ft. vaulted ceiling and an open backbar with views to the adjacent dining room. The backbar is comprised of 10 ft. of tiered liquor bottles reflected in mirrors that create an optical illusion. Off the main dining room is the private lounge, and its design is liken to a library. The room’s focal point is a crystal chandelier that is 5 ft. in diameter. The space is framed in dark walnut wood paneling and features a tufted leather bar and velvet banquettes.
