The Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip has completed a $100 million renovation of its 2,496 guest rooms and suites. The renovation, spearheaded by locally based Bergman, Walls & Associates (BWA), comes as the property celebrates 10 years.

BWA’s room design features a sleek, white color palette and décor such as suspended sofas and round beds. Project participants say the artwork throughout the rooms and corridors were inspired by the modern “rock star guest” and capture the essence of Las Vegas nightlife.

The resort is the first in Caesars Entertainment’s Las Vegas portfolio to have all guest rooms renovated as part of the company’s plans to update a total of 23,000 rooms at its properties there. (That effort will be more than 50 percent complete by year-end.) “Caesars Entertainment is committed to offering the best experience to our guests and this includes stylish new rooms,” says Bob Morse, the company’s president of hospitality.

The Planet Hollywood resort also debuted a new restaurant concept, Café Hollywood, in a space formerly occupied by a Planet Dailies locale. The 5,500 sq.-ft. restaurant combines retro and modern designs, and includes a multimedia celebration of Planet Hollywood’s 25-year history.
