Phoenician Scottsdale Refreshes
Parker-Torres Design led the redesign
The Phoenician Scottsdale, a Luxury Collection Resort, has completed a renovation that spanned three years. Parker-Torres Design handled the redesign of the 643-room resort. Host Hotels & Resorts is the owner. The resort was originally built in the 1988.
The lobby was renovated in 2017 to add new food and beverage outlets such as the grab-and-go Marketplace and contemporary eatery Mowry & Cotton. In 2018, the Phoenician Athletic Club was constructed. Located on the first floor, the activity center includes an arcade, TV gaming zone, board games, shuffleboard and a movie screening area for recreational entertainment. The refreshment and retail center offers a juice bar. On the second floor, the fitness center features Matrix workout equipment and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Camelback Mountain and The Phoenician property.
The Phoenician Golf Course was redesigned by architect Phil Smith, re-configuring the course from 27 holes to 18 holes. The course now has a consistent desert profile throughout.
