Nikki Details Expansion Plans

Adds two execs to help brand grow by 20-plus international hotels and resorts in next five years

Nikki Beach Worldwide says it plans to open more than 20 additional hotel and resort properties in the next five years. To help drive that expansion, the family owned and operated global luxury lifestyle and hospitality brand has hired Kevin Wallace to serve as president of its operations in China, India, Australia and Southeast Asia, and Alexander Schneider as vice president to concentrate on growth in Europe and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Nikki Beach, Wallace served as president of Centara Hotels and Resorts, managing director-Asia of Plateno Hotel Group and managing director-Asia Pacific for Dream Hotel Group. Schneider, meantime, has been working with the brand since April 2016, leading projects such as the opening of Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai.

It’s now time to take our growth to the next level with an aggressive, yet well thought out, expansion plan for the Hotels & Resorts division. By segmenting the business into different regions of the globe and putting trusted senior executives at the top of each division, I am confident that our expansion plan will be a great success.”

The hotelier did not provide any specifics on new property locales. While Nikki Beach’s roots are in luxury beach clubs with 13 destinations worldwide, the Nikki Beach Hotels & Resorts portfolio currently includes four resort properties: in Koh Samui, Thailand (shown); Porto Heli, Greece; Bodrum, Turkey; and Dubai, UAE.
