Sereno Rebuilds after Hurricane
Restaurant Le Sereno gets total refresh, new bar
The team at Sereno Hotels has been at work updating and repairing the Le Sereno St. Barth after it closed in September 2017 due to damage from Hurricane Irma. The refreshed hotel will open Dec. 1.
The rebuild brings back the original Sereno team and will feature new interiors for the Bungalow Piscine category as well as three new rooms, two of which are part of the new Family Suite offering that includes private pools for each accommodation. The room additions increase the count from 36 to 39. Grand Suite Plage Sud rooms have been built from the ground up, and now have a larger bedroom and private garden with outdoor bathtubs.
Restaurant Le Sereno has been completely redesigned and a bar has been added. Additionally, the hotel’s oak roof was rebuilt and a new retail boutique is in the plans. The hotel’s pool as well as the lobby’s red doors and villas will retain the same look. The spa has been expanded to include three full treatment rooms and a new fitness center was added during the renovations.
