ITC Launches Resort in Goa
Grand Goa property is company’s 13th Luxury Collection hotel in India
ITC Grand Goa, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, has made its debut on Arossim beach in Cansaulim. Set against 45 lush acres in South Goa, the former Park Hyatt Goa Resort & Spa is now home to six food and beverage outlets, indoor and outdoor meeting space and a 36,000-sq.-ft. spa.
The 252-room haven features village-style architecture that takes cues from the region's Indo-Portuguese heritage. Guestrooms have private outdoor spaces with balconies or patios that provide views of the Arabian Sea, gardens and lagoons. Verandas and alcoves give the area a sense of warmth. Wooden flooring, terracotta roofs, subtle textures and verdant landscapes draw on the materials of the locale.
Six dining outlets celebrate global flavors: Kebabs & Kurries, a traditional Indian restaurant; Tempero’s Goan cuisine; Ottimo’s Italian menu; Pavilion at the Market Place, an all-day dining venue blending Indian and international cuisines; The Royal Afghan, a seaside barbecue and grill; and Farol, a multi-level poolside bar.
ITC Hotels has more than 100 properties in over 70 destinations throughout India. The Grand Goa resort joins 12 other ITC Luxury Collection hotels in the country including: ITC Maurya in New Delhi, ITC Mughal in Agra, ITC Windsor and ITC Gardenia in Bengaluru, ITC Grand Central and ITC Maratha in Mumbai, ITC Grand Chola in Chennai, ITC Rajputana in Jaipur, ITC Kohenur and ITC Kakatiya in Hyderabad, ITC Sonar in Kolkata and ITC Grand Bharat in the New Delhi Capital Region.
