Hotel Talisa Debuts in Vail
LEO A DALY designs renovated interiors at Vail ski resort
The former Vail Cascade Resort and Spa has undergone a $60 million-plus renovation and reopened as the Hotel Talisa. The property’s renovated interiors were created by LEO A DALY and reflect Vail’s rich history and the spirit of Rocky Mountain adventure, project participants say.
In addition to 285 keys, the luxury hotel offers three F&B venues, each sourcing ingredients from local ranchers and farmers: Gesner, a full-service restaurant; The Fireside Bar and Lounge; and The Market.

New to the property is The Spa at Hotel Talisa, an indoor/outdoor space inspired by traditional alpine spas. Other hotel amenities include a 58,000-sq.-ft. athletic club and 40,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space.
The ski-in/ski-out destination in the Colorado resort town has also joined The Luxury Collection by Marriott, but will remain under the management of Two Roads Hospitality.
"We have an unparalleled setting and location and through this extensive renovation, have reimagined the property into one of the elite destination ski resorts in North America,” says Andres Szita, chairman of Laurus Corp., the private real estate investment and development firm behind the project. “The amount of detail and thought put into every corner of the resort will wow even the most discerning guest."
