Hilton Soft Brand Makes U.K. Debut
The Trafalgar St. James hotel joins Curio
The Trafalgar St. James hotel in Central London has reopened as part of Hilton’s Curio Collection following a top-to-bottom refurbishment. Marking the soft brand’s debut in the U.K., the upper-upscale, independent property also plans to reopen its newly revamped rooftop venue this fall.
The hotel is home to 131 guest rooms and 15 suites accented with art deco details, textural furnishings and bold colors. Each room pays tribute to London’s music icons via wall art. In-room amenities include LED illuminated makeup mirrors and accessible charging points.
Set to open this October, The Rooftop (formerly known as Vista) is being transformed into a 4,000-plus-sq.-ft., year-round venue with lounge and dining areas, alfresco and canopy-covered seating, a fireplace, heaters and blankets.
Other hotel features include Room, a glass-enclosed private dining space with a 14-guest capacity, and Biblio, an underground living room-style space that project participants say evokes the intimacy of a private members lounge.
