Grand Hyatt Debuts in Colombia

Luxury hotel houses one of the largest spas in Latin America

Boutique Design

The 372-room luxury Grand Hyatt Bogota reflects Colombian culture through its inventive architecture via Chicago-based Goettsch Partners and idiosyncratic interiors from Chilean firm Echeverría Edwards in collaboration with local firm Construcciones Planificadas S.A.

The airy guestrooms are designed with bold features, showcasing floor-to-ceiling windows that let in an abundance of natural light and offer many views, including the hotel’s inner atrium garden, the surrounding metropolis or the Andes Mountains.

The property also houses 24,434 sq. ft. of meeting and event space. The Grand Ballroom can hold up to 1,000 people, and 269 sq. ft. conference rooms can host groups. The Zaitania Spa is located on the third floor of the hotel, and at 32,000 sq. ft. it is one of the largest urban spas in Latin America. It includes a beauty salon, an indoor pool, fitness center and 11 treatment rooms. Rounding out the hotel is upscale Ushin Japanese & Grill on the 14th floor. Three more food and beverage outlets complete the development: casual Capitalino Restaurant, the Ilustre Bar and the Aldeana Market.
