Four Seasons Set for Hanoi
WATG, SRSS and Wimberly Interiors to design company’s second Vietnam locale
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is teaming with BRG Group to develop a new Four Seasons hotel in Vietnam’s capital city. WATG Architects and SRSS Interior Design Studio are set to design the 95-key Hanoi property, while Wimberly Interiors will develop its dining and lounge areas, including an all-day restaurant and rooftop bar.
The design for the Four Seasons Hotel Hanoi at Hoan Kiem Lake will draw inspiration from the French Colonial-style architecture common in the city, project participants say. The hotel will also include a spa and fitness center, pools and meeting and event spaces.
“Hanoi is an incredible city with a great deal to offer international and local travelers, and we look forward to expanding in the region with first-time partners BRG Group on this exciting project,” says J. Allen Smith, president and ceo of Toronto-based Four Seasons. “This is a fantastic opportunity to offer travelers a Four Seasons experience in Hanoi, with partners who are truly passionate about the future of this city and this hotel in particular.”
Adds Nguyen Thi, chairwoman of Hanoi-based BRG Group: “We are committed to showcasing Hanoi as a choice destination for new and returning visitors. We are proud to partner with Four Seasons on this new hotel, a name synonymous with exceptional quality and service, and are confident that together we will honor the rich culture of Vietnam, while providing the best accommodation in the city.”
The partners did not disclose a timetable for opening the Four Seasons Hotel Hanoi at Hoan Kiem Lake, which will be the hotelier’s second location in Vietnam, joining the Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, Hoi An.
