Las Vegas will soon welcome a new conference center with the $375 million Caesars Forum from Caesars Entertainment Corporation, which broke ground on Monday and is set to open in 2020.

The 550,000 sq. ft. conference center will be built on one level, and showcase two massive ballrooms constructed without pillars and spanning over 100,000 sq. ft. Two more 40,000 sq. ft. ballrooms, six boardrooms and an additional 100,000 sq. ft. outdoor event area will complete the meeting space. All in, the building can accommodate more than 10,000 people at a time for events, and over two miles of airwalls will allow for customization of the spaces.

The project will be located directly behind The LINQ Promenade, a dining, shopping and entertainment district located on Las Vegas Blvd. This new conference center will provide access by way of skybridge to Harrah’s Las Vegas and The LINQ Hotel and Casino as well as connect via pedestrian bridge to the LINQ Promenade and Flamingo Las Vegas. Caesars Forum will also be certified with a LEED Silver rating.

“With our geographic advantage, and the demand for meetings space exceeding available inventory, this project builds on our strategy to provide a value-add to meeting planners, guests and investors,” says Mark Frissora, president and ceo for Caesars Entertainment.

The development is the latest in Caesars’ ongoing investment in new meeting and event projects. This spring, the company announced plans to bring the brand to two hotels in Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach region and to Puerto Los Cabos in Mexico. Last month, Caesars broke ground on a new $200 million conference center at Harrah’s in Cherokee, N.C. with 725 hotel rooms.
