Huntsville, Ala.-based Propst Development, LLC has unveiled its plans for Broadwest, a mixed-use development located in downtown Nashville, Tenn., designed by architecture and design firm Cooper Carry.

Situated at the intersection where Broadway meets West End Ave., the development will encompass 1.2 million sq. ft. across two towers. The first tower will stand 21 stories tall and comprise 510,000 sq. ft. of Class-A office space. The second tower will soar 34 stories and house a 14-floor, 245-room hotel to be co-owned and managed by Franklin, Tenn.-based Chartwell Hospitality. Additionally, 220 luxury condo units will take up 20 floors of the second tower. Another 125,000 sq. ft. of creative office and retail space and a one-acre park will connect and anchor the development.

Construction on the 3.9-acre site, which sits at one of the highest elevations downtown, is set to begin early fall with Turner Construction Company and Hoar Construction as general contractors.
