ASCOTT DEBUTS IN NYC

Hotel will feature pop-up F&B experiences

Boutique Design

Sinapore-based The Ascott Limited has opened the 125-room, boutique Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue New York following an extensive renovation of the former Hotel Central Fifth Avenue New York with a total investment of $50 million. TPG Architecture handled the interior design.

Guestroom design balances comfort and functionality, with types ranging from king or double beds to one-bedroom suites with separate living spaces. In addition to a 24-hour grab and go area, the hotel will partner with local outlets every quarter to bring a total food and beverage experience complete with pop-ups.

Ascott’s portfolio comprises more than 120 Citadines properties with more than 20,000 units in over 20 countries across Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East. Following the opening of Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue, the group is slated to open Citadines Connect Cupertino Sunnyvale in Silicon Valley in the second half of 2019. Ascott has a goal to reach 80,000 units by 2020 across the globe.
