More than two decades after opening the Muckleshoot Casino, the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe will add a luxury resort to the site, set to open in the second quarter of 2021.
The 18-story, 400-room hotel tower will feature an indoor climate-controlled pool, spa, play area, arcade and several food and beverage outlets. The addition is part of a multi-phase refresh of the destination. The first phase of the project will add a 20,000-sq.-ft. events center, a trio of fast-casual dining spots, a center bar and more. Additionally, a curated cultural gallery will pay homage to the history of the tribe. The completion of the expansion’s first phase is expected in spring 2020.
Once the full transformation is unveiled the following year with the four-star hotel’s debut, the project will tout 157,000 sq. ft. of continuous gaming, 29,000 total sq. ft. of event space, and more than a dozen dining options.
