Mama Shelter has debuted its fifth property in France behind the façade of an old movie palace in Toulouse.
Designer Thierry Gaugain spearheaded the look for the 120-room hotel, creating a design that balances comfort and modern technology. The property is home to three meeting rooms, a 550-sq.-ft. rooftop terrace and a 46-seat cinema.
“As Mama spreads her hospitality with new properties across the world, we continue to hold true to our commitment to only bring her to cities where we would want to live ourselves,” says Mama Shelter founder Serge Trigano.
The Toulouse opening joins two additional Mama Shelter hotels this year: Belgrade and Prague. The brand, which currently has nine properties in its portfolio, plans to double its footprint by 2021.
