Los Angeles-based hotelier Matthew Kurtz, in partnership with local hoteliers Richard Crisman and Jeff Brock, has transformed a historic 1930s property into 27-room boutique hotel, Les Cactus, located in Palm Springs, California. The hotel was formerly the Terra Cotta resort.
The hotel was named after the 1960s song by Jacques Dutronc. Interior design gives off a retro 1960s vibe meets modern feel, clad in tones of pink, green, and white throughout public spaces and guestrooms. Cacti accents can be discovered across the hotel’s spaces. The boutique property, which is open only to adults 21 years and older, also features a pool, massage room, and outdoor firepits.
