Boutique Design Events and Trade Fairs

The Las Vegas casino, hotel and resort community collectively dimmed its digital marquees for 11 minutes on Sunday night, to honor the victims and heroes of the mass shooting exactly one week earlier. From 10:05 to 10:16 p.m., marquees along the Strip and its environs went dark out of respect for those affected.

After that, displays throughout the city bore the message, “When Things Get Dark, Las Vegas Shines,” which remained in rotation through the night. The tributes were spearheaded by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
