Boutique Design Events and Trade Fairs

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has unveiled plans to debut its Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants brand in Asia. The first three representatives of the luxury boutique brand in the region will be:

  • Kimpton Shanghai Jing’an, which will feature 150 guest rooms and 120 villas when it opens in 2021. The hotel’s common areas will be housed in a historic building that was developed between 1910 and 1930 and originally belonged to the British-American Concession.
  • Kimpton Resort Sanya Haitang Bay in China’s Hainan Province, also set to open in 2021. This 251-key beach-front hotel will feature a rooftop pool, restaurant and bar.
  • Kimpton Bali, opening in 2019, will be the brand’s first location in Southeast Asia. Located on the Nusa Dua coast, the hotel will include 50 newly designed villas.
