Wilson Associates’ Atelier Tristan Auer has been selected to renovate the high-profile InterContinental Carlton Cannes hotel in France. The year-old, Paris-based luxury interior studio’s projected timeline and specific scope for the project was not immediately available.
Located along the Boulevard de la Croisette, the luxury property, which dates to 1911 and currently flies the InterContinental flag, was featured in the 1955 Alfred Hitchcock film, “To Catch a Thief,” starring Grace Kelly and Cary Grant. The property is also known for hosting celebrities during the annual Cannes Film Festival.
Wilson representatives say more information on the renovation will be released in coming months.
