Signia Hilton, the McLean, Virginia-based hotelier’s 17th brand, is billed as a meetings-and-events-focused product that will infuse the latest technology with design. Each hotel will have a minimum of 500 guestrooms and 75 sq. ft. per key of flexible meetings and events space.
Keys to the design include contemporary architecture and pristine landscaping to greet guests on arrival. The lobby will be a critical part of the experience, offering design that is connected to the locale’s culture. The goal is for the public space to double as a lobby and a social-gathering spot.
Each hotel will also have a destination bar as part of its development, which will tie back to the city where it resides. This bar will serve as the heart of the hotel. Additionally, hotels will feature a signature restaurant based on a chef-driven concept, designed with both guests and locals in mind. Hotels will also have an elevated wellness experience with a spa and fitness center that offers classes. Lastly, meetings will be the showpiece of Signia hotels with large ballrooms and ample pre-function space at each location.
Signia will reach a global scale with a curated portfolio of hotels in top urban and resort locales. On tap so far are: Signia Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, Signia Hilton Atlanta and Signia Hilton Indianapolis.
