Dallas-based real estate developer HALL Group will bring the HALL Arts Hotel, which is currently under construction, to Dallas’s Art District this fall. Designed by firms HKS Inc. and Bentel & Bentel, the hotel will add 183 guestrooms to the market, including 10 Arts District-inspired suites. The property will be managed by Latitudes: Lifestyles by Crescent Hotels & Resorts.
HKS has designed a 10-story structure with a sleek, modern glass and steel jewel box look that fits with the Art District’s surrounding aesthetic. Then inside, Bentel & Bentel expands on the theme with sprawling white wall space to provide a background to house the art property’s domestic and international art collection curated by Virginia Shore, former chief curator of the U.S. Department of State’s Arts in Embassies Program.
The property will also be home to two culinary concepts: Ellie’s and a second concept to be announced in 2020. Additional hotel features include Ellie’s Lounge and Terrace, over 6,000 sq. ft. of event space and a rooftop pool. The hotel will be adjacent to HALL Arts Residences, a luxury 28-story residential tower set to open in early 2020.
