Crescent Hotels & Resorts has hired Nancy Johns as vice president of digital strategy. In this role, Johns will lead and manage execution of corporate and property marketing strategic goals.
The role will include leading ecommerce-related activities such as content management, direct marketing, placement and distribution of strategy and reputation management among other items. This includes integration of strategies based on revenue goals for the hotels, day-to-day interaction with teams and hotels to ensure effective use of various platforms to measure brand utilization, regional and other specific marketing and corporate initiatives.
Prior to joining Crescent, Johns served as corporate director of ecommerce for Pyramid Hotel Group. She has also held positions at Expedia Inc. and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
