Another week, another brand launched. This one comes from real estate entrepreneur Philip Bates, and it’s billed as a flexible residential stay experience.
The new brand, Bode, will offer guests the opportunity to choose from two- to four-bedroom units with a living room, kitchen, a patio and a backyard. Single rooms complemented by shared spaces are also available.
Each property’s design will be inspired by the location. Public spaces will include a café, market and lounge. Additionally, each Bode has its own customized hangouts, from workspaces to fire pits, stages or tailgates.
The first Bode property opens this month in Nashville, Tennessee, about a year and a half after a group of Nashville investors led by real estate broker Rob Lowe purchased the nearly two-acre site south of downtown for about $18 million, according to the Nashville Tennessean. There were 40 condo units in the 1986-built structure before it was renovated a local design team, including architecture firm DAAD, lighting design company Southern Lights Electric, leather goods company Emil Erwin and custom furniture maker Kings Interiors, the Tennessean reports.
A second location in Chattanooga, Tennessee, follows in March. The flag also plans to expand to California, with three properties on tap in Palm Springs, Indian Wells and Orange County.
