ArchitectsPlus has a new name and look. The Cincinnati-based architecture and interior design firm recently rebranded as Luminaut, launching a new website and unveiling a sun-inspired logo that its partners say reflects the company’s collaborative vision and bright future.
“I’m excited to watch our people carry the torch of this new brand out to our clients,” says
Luminaut partner Nora Wiley. “This really signifies outwardly what we’ve long known internally; that our team of inspired and imaginative individuals not only make it possible to navigate the complicated process of design, but by engaging with the client and working cooperatively, they make the process fun.”
The growing firm upsized from its former office in Blue Ash, Ohio, to its current home at the intersection of downtown Cincinnati and the neighborhoods of Over-the-Rhine and Pendleton last year. That early-1900s, Samuel Hannaford-designed loft features high ceilings, brick walls, oversized windows, and exposed wood beams and ductwork. Luminaut has since revamped the space for functionality, incorporating modern workstations, collaborative work tables, pin-up areas, lounge seating and most recently, the Luminaut logo.
“We’re the sum of our knowledge, culture, passion and purpose, connected and constant at every point on our path,” says Luminaut partner Matt Erdman, who was featured in the “State of the Industry: Cincinnati Edition” report in Boutique Design’s July + August 2017 edition. “We’re thrilled to finally share this internal culture through our new name and brand.”
Luminaut partner Andy Schaub adds: “We stand with one foot securely planted on our rock-solid past, while the other foot simultaneously stretches toward a bright and shiny future.”
