Boutique Design Events and Trade Fairs

The Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi transformed the so-called “Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi” into a 189-room hotel, occupying floors 18 to 33 of the iconic Capital Gate Building. It’s the world’s most-leaning hotel at an 18-degree incline.

The hotel, owned by Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Co., is designed to pay homage to the culture of the United Arab Emirates. Layered design elements include various textures and techniques that symbolize the country’s beginnings. Traditional elements are balanced by the modern façade. Stories of four cultural symbols can be discovered throughout the hotel, including: “Mashrabiya,” intricate wooden window adornments; “Khatt,” poetic Islamic calligraphy; “Al Sadu,” traditionally woven fabrics; and iconic Date Palms motifs. When entering the property, guests are welcomed by works crafted by local artists. The ground floor serves as a permanent gallery, and each guestroom features unique artwork of the region.

The hotel includes a restaurant, 18 Degrees, serving up Mediterranean dishes. Another eatery, The Lounge, offers a more casual environment for guests and locals. The hotel also has a spa, a suspended outdoor pool, a pool bar and a fitness center.
