Allegiant has unveiled the design team behind its planned foray into the hospitality sector, the Sunseeker Resort in Port Charlotte, Florida. Design for that hotel/condo destination will be helmed by architectural firms Steelman Partners and L2 Studios Inc., while its general contractors will be Manhattan Construction Group and Florida Premier Contractors (FPC).
As previously reported, the development marks the Las Vegas-based airline’s first expansion beyond its traditional business. “We are incredibly excited to have such a wealth of talent and creativity behind this special project,” says John Redmond, Allegiant president. “These four firms bring unmatched experience with integrated resorts in unique settings—from grand-scale international hotels to coastal condo resorts and boutique spas.”
Encompassing 20 acres of waterfront land, the Sunseeker Resort is slated to include a hotel, up to nine condominium towers and an array of restaurant, bar and retail concepts—including an on-site grocery store and pharmacy—as well as a marina and a property-spanning pool.
