Firm also unveils fabric-selection system
Tropitone Furniture Co. was named Manufacturer of the Year by the International Casual Furnishings Association at a recent awards reception at the School of the Arts Institute of Chicago.
In addition, the Irvine, Calif.-based company said it has collaborated with fabric suppliers to create a fabric-selection system for sling seating based on the product’s application, performance data and specifications from fabric suppliers. “We believe our new system is fundamentally sound, easy to use and does not require the buyer to study the technical details,” says Richard Rivera, Tropitone’s vice president of engineering and total quality.
