Armourcoat USA's Surface Shine of Eco-Consciousness

The polished plaster seen on the walls and ceiling of the Kingly Club in London looks flashy, but its story is one of environmental awareness. Made by Armourcoat USA, the marble plaster system seen here, called Spatulata, is made from marble powder that is a byproduct of marble slab and tile manufacturing.
A little goes a long way with this surface material because the polished plaster is compacted to a very thin and hard coating during application. This means that the mineral ingredients that do have to be quarried are not used in great volume as with other plasters.
