Will design multiple carpet collections
Designer Stacy Garcia has formed a long-term relationship with the Mohawk Group to design multiple print and CYP carpet lines for Durkan, Mohawk’s hospitality brand. The first collection stemming from this venture will debut in spring 2012.
“Stacy knows the hospitality industry inside and out, and her signature designs set a standard other hospitality designers strive to achieve,” says Barbara Marcy, Durkan’s director of creative design. “We cannot wait for the world to see Durkan through Stacy’s eyes.”
Garcia is founder and ceo of fabric-converting firm LebaTex Inc. and product design company Stacy Garcia Inc. She also serves as chair of the Color Marketing Group.
