The 86-key Cosmopolitan Hotel in St. Kilda, a seaside suburb of Melbourne, Australia, has completed a $100,000 renovation. Its guest rooms, which were revamped by Rachel Kraus Interior Design, feature bed heads and fashionable cushions, additional lighting, in-room lounges and outdoor furniture in the rooms with balconies. The hotel lobby, renovated by interior and furniture designers Hecker Guthrie, has a living room feel with a new seating area, dining table, rug, fresh plants and a working station.

The Cosmopolitan Hotel, which is owned by Australian boutique hotel operator 8Hotels, was built in 2006. The hotel’s amenities include rooms and apartments, hotel conference and function facilities and the La Kitchen Café.
