Ex-Rosewood exec joins tech company
Samsung Electronics America has hired Fred Crespo as director of technology and business development for its hospitality sales and marketing group. In his new role, Crespo will focus on emerging hospitality technology, including interactive guest room experiences.
Crespo, who was most recently Rosewood Hotels and Resorts’ vice president of information technology, is “ideally positioned to develop products/programs to support Samsung’s new generation of hospitality offerings,” says Jonas Tanembaum, leader of Samsung’s hospitality business in the U.S.
Samsung’s hospitality division provides technology, including Smart TVs and cross-platform connectivity programs, to the hotel, hospital and cruise industries.
