Today I was reminded of the growing merits of social media when fellow journalist Stefanie Schwalb tweeted her latest article for Home Lighting & Accessories magazine to @BoutiqueDesign. To my delight, the contents of the link included an extensive article on BDNY 2011, including photos from the Trend Walk curated by Stacy Garcia and glowing reviews from several contract lighting vendors. The show, they say, was “really terrific” and “fresh,” among other praises.
