MMoser designs carpet firm’s regional office
Milliken & Co., a carpet manufacturer that has operated in Asia since the late ’80s, has opened a regional headquarters in Shanghai. Designed by MMoser Associates, the LEED Gold-certified space features a neutral background with classic modern furnishings and rich textiles.
“The establishment of a regional headquarters here signifies the strategic importance we place on our presence here and our commitment to innovation in Asia,” says Joe Salley, Milliken’s ceo.
The new office includes client meeting areas, an innovation gallery, design studio, lab spaces and a pilot manufacturing facility. Milliken also operates facilities in Tokyo; Shanghai; Beijing; Seoul, South Korea; Hong Kong; Melbourne, Australia; Singapore; and Bangalore and Pune, India.
