Lazarus Manufacturing Inc., a maker of bedding and window treatments for the lodging and health care industries, has moved to a new factory near Miami. The bedding and window treatment company has also invested $500,000 in state-of-the-art machinery that will provide “a new way to cut and sew,” says founder and president Eric Lazarus.
Lazarus said that investment is designed to be “a statement about the state of the textile industry, the hospitality market across Florida and nationally, and our future. We’re very bullish on this market and our place in it.” Lazarus Manufacturing is a majority woman-owned business enterprise, and its new factory is in Medley, Fla., an industrial suburb of Miami.
