Kohler Co. has completed a multi-phase renovation of The American Club Resort Hotel in Kohler, Wis. Built in 1918 to house the company’s immigrant workers, the 185-key hotel  has served in more recent years as a showcases for plumbing and interiors products by Kohler, whose brands include Kohler, Kallista, Baker, Mark David, McGuire and Ann Sacks.

The hotel includes rooms named and themed in honor of famous Americans, such as Harriet Tubman and Babe Ruth, as well as members of the Kohler family. For example, the Ruth DeYoung Kohler room features an overflowing bathtub with chromatherapy fills and a glass-enclosed fireplace with rose etchings.

In the bathrooms, experiential plumbing products  are matched with earth tones, accent tiles and artistic elements. Additional guest room amenities include rich-colored draperies, dark-wood accents, over-bed lighting, and furniture with mismatched finishes and styles.

The hotel’s adjoining 55-suite Carriage House annex, which is home to the Kohler Waters Spa, is also undergoing renovations and will open in spring 2013.
