Hotel’s decor toned down by Ramsay
The Keating, the world’s first hotel designed by Italian auto design house Pininfarina, has had its interiors fine-tuned by restaurateur Gordon Ramsay in an episode of his latest reality TV show, “Hotel Hell.” During that show, Ramsay concludes that the Ferrari-themed decor permeating the hotel in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter is “all style and no substance.” To overcome that problem, Ramsay teamed with hospitality experts to tone down the hotel’s extensive use of red throughout its spaces, and created the new Victory Suite, which features a reconfigured room layout and plush gray furnishings.
