Venture launches in Singapore, Shanghai
Interior design firm HBA/Hirsch Bedner Associates has launched an architecture division in Singapore and Shanghai, with two additional offices set to open in the first quarter of 2013. HBA Architecture will provide architecture design services for hotels and resorts, mixed-use developments, retail, offices and branded residences.
René Kaerskov, co-ceo of HBA, says “we launched HBA Architecture in response to our clients’ requests to provide architectural design services at the same high standard of quality and innovation as HBA.”
The new venture will be led by managing director Jeffrey Williams and design director Yann Leroy. HBA Architecture’s leaders have worked together for 24 years, including a shared 20-year stint at BBG-BBGM.
HBA also offers a lighting consultancy and art affiliate. The company says additional expansion plans will be announced in the near future.
