H. Studio, founded by artist Shlomi Haziza in 1991, has launched two new collections, a semi-precious stone surface line and the Freeform upholstery collection. The stone surface collection is collaboration with CeasarStone, which utilizes semi-precious Concetto stone surfaces highlighting both the healing powers and the inherent beauty of the natural world.

“I am excited by the potential of combining Concetto hand-made surfaces with acrylic design,” said Haziza. “My goal is to create a new luxury table and furniture collection that will bring natural semi-precious stones into the home with nearly invisible floating table bases.”

The surfaces come in nine varieties of stone─gray Agate, rose quartz, white quartz, white quartz, tiger’s eye, hematite, brown agate, yellow quartz and indigo dumortierite ─ each evoking a different feeling from soothing and sexy to somber and secure. The coupling of the stonework with a range of acrylic bases is both modern and timeless. The Freeform upholstery collection combines handcrafted details like custom button tufting and handmade acrylic legs with highly modern design elements like moon-shaped chairs or undulating Shai benches.

Every style is available in any upholstery fabric along with acrylic, wood or metal legs, providing versatility and a personalized touch. H. Studio is Los Angeles-based and comprised of artist Shlomi’s Haziza’s work. For the past 19 years, H. Studio has evolved from solely sculptures to pedestals, furniture, upholstery, lighting, accessories, and rugs.
